Event Overview

As the global pandemic continues to transform daily life, the acceleration of digitization has become an urgent necessity for the Japanese government. For foreign firms and leaders working in Japan, this moment is an opening to assist governments by contributing insights and expertise learned in other markets. It’s also a key chance to influence policies that could define the winners and losers in health, technology, finance, education, consumer retail, transport, and more.

At the same time, in a culture that has typically valued face-to-face interaction and physical presence, new pandemic precautions challenge us all to reconsider how we engage, advocate, and influence policy in Japan.

- How do we stay ahead of what’s happening and what comes next?
- When and where can we engage key stakeholders?
- How do we deliver our messages with equal impact?

Our panel of esteemed public affairs professionals will share their initial observations on how things are changing already and their forward-looking view on how digital and tech might reshape the way we conduct advocacy in Japan.
