Intern
Key Qualifications
Interest in Japanese politics and policy, as well as international business
Excellent research and critical thinking skills
Self-starter who can make decisions and take action without being told
Japanese reading and writing skills (preferred)
English reading and writing skills (preferred)
Proficiency with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. a plus
Responsibility
Research and analyze public policy
Write, edit, and proof policy and market reports
Work with us in communicating with key stakeholders, including government officials, Diet members, academics, and media
Help ensure client satisfaction
Assist in translation
Participate in marketing and sales activities, including social media management
General administrative support
Education
Currently enrolled or graduated from a bachelor degree program or higher, with a preferred focus on public policy, political science, economics, international relations, or a related field
Equivalent work experience will also be considered
Working Hours: 9am-18pm, Flex-time and remote working options available
Compensation and Benefits: Transportation and lunch will be covered daily
Holidays: Weekends and National Holidays
