Hosting Committee: Young Professionals Forum, Investment Management

Member Fee: ¥600

Guest Fee: ¥1,200

Registration/Cancellation Deadline: Wednesday, September 2, 10:00

On September 2, the Young Professionals Forum will host a new session in its regular Mastermind series— for the first time in a virtual format! In partnership with the ACCJ Investment Management Committee, this session will focus on COVID-19 and personal investing for young professionals.

The YPF Mastermind series strives to sharpen members’ business and personal skills by offering a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability, and support in a group setting. Each Mastermind session focuses on a specific theme, inviting expert guests to share in the group’s discussion about goals, growth, and success.

On September 2, we invite David W. Nichols, Chair of the ACCJ Investment Management Committee to lead a dialogue on the basics of investing for young professionals. What is a stock? What is a bond? How should I think about my investment portfolio and its risk profile? How does the COVID-19 situation impact my decision-making? These questions and more will be explored in this interactive session.

Come to not only learn, but also share your own experiences, insights, and questions with the group.

NOTE 1: This event is OFF THE RECORD.

NOTE 2: Please note that, as with all guest presentations, the content and comments of the speakers reflect their own opinions and do not necessarily represent the opinions or policies of the ACCJ.

NOTE 3: If you cancel after the stated deadline, the full meeting fee will be charged to your account.
