Finally! Alternative investments have an asset class with real liquidity. Wave Financial has created the Wave Kentucky Whiskey Fund, a fund that invests in barrels of Kentucky whiskey.

Wave Financial and NEM Ventures will make a presentation on the business concept of tokenization of physical (and digital) assets on the blockchain as a new development in the financial markets. Wave Financial has a partnership with NEM Ventures to put the Wave Kentucky Whiskey Fund on the NEM blockchain

This process brings efficiency, security, and liquidity to a traditional private equity investment structure that would otherwise be locked up for an extended period of time.  This technology has a wide application and is being adopted in real estate, sports contracts, collectibles, etc., including commodities like the Whiskey Fund.

The NEM Software's blockchain has been operating successfully in Japan for over four years. In this presentation, NEM will show how the next generation Symbol blockchain platform, launching this December 2020, provides robust, out-of-the-box features.  It is ideal for projects like Wave Financial’ s tokenization in order to meet the intense regulatory compliance guidelines and to allow Wave Financial to work only with accredited investors and to track all assets.
