Job description:

We are looking for an experienced EPC Director to lead Enfinity's EPC division in Japan. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our regional teams in Europe, North America, and Asia, ensuring a seamless and efficient engineering, procurement, and construction process. Your leadership will have a direct impact on the company's success. The Japan portfolio is the first to be completed over the next four years, playing a critical role in the company's growth and its future goals.

The EPC Director will report directly to the CCO and CEO of Enfinity Japan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage the portfolio of projects currently under construction, ensuring timely progress and quality.

  • Collaborate with the Asset Management team to optimize the use of existing and future resources.

  • Support the Development team in expanding the current business portfolio.

  • Assist the Development team in the early-stage processes that will transform opportunities into future projects.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the renewable energy market.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key players in the renewable energy sector while developing new connections.

  • Coordinate Coordinate with the Global Procurement team to align efforts and strategies.

  • Foster a culture within Enfinity Japan focused on Quality, Health, and Safety.

  • Provide regular reporting to both local and global management teams.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in civil engineering or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in renewable energy EPC management, including asset management, due diligence, and permitting.

  • Strong strategic thinking, risk management, and contract negotiation skills, with a focus on cost savings.

  • Experience working in multicultural environments and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to introduce innovative procurement practices and improve efficiency.

  • Fluent in Japanese and English; additional languages are a plus.
