Energy

Focuses on the development of energy-related industries in Japan and provides a platform for members to share information on energy issues, follow critical developments in energy policy, and provide input to the Japanese and U.S. government on the impact of various energy regulations.

In addition to hosting programs covering key areas such as energy security and cost, power generation, clean energy technologies and energy efficiency, this committee has a strong advocacy program to address regulatory issues related to the energy sector.

We typically sponsor 8-10 events a year and hold quarterly committee meetings without external speakers.

The energy sector continues to experience rapid change and intense regulatory activity, so we hope our programs and advocacy will be of interest to a wide range of ACCJ members engaged in the field including manufacturers, developers, operators, technology providers, financial institutions, consultants, lawyers and other service firms.
