December 7 — ADRA Afri Cafe

Join Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Japan on December 7, 19:00–20:00, as they host expatriate Shunpei Tsujimoto, who recently was stationed in Ethiopia for a year and a half. Tsujimoto will present the many challenges facing ADRA’s supporting role in Ethiopia, such as unstable security and rising inflation/

A networking opportunity will follow, with Ethiopian koro (sweet corn) and drinks provided. The event will be held at the Tokyo Central Church 1st floor meeting room.

このイベントでは、駐在員辻本が、エチオピアの最新情報を写真や動画を使ってご紹介します。治安が不安定になったり、世界中で続いている物価高騰の影響を受けたりと、支援活動をする中で課題は多く、頭を悩ませることが多いですが、ADRAが、エチオピアの人たちに寄り添って活動している状況をお伝えします。

ADRAとはとは？ADRAは、正式にはAdventist Development and Relief Agency Japanという名称。ADRAは、セブンスデー・アドベンチスト教会を設立母体とする世界的な人道支援団体です。世界約120か国にあるADRA支部のほか、世界中に何十万とある教会、系列の病院、教育機関、企業等を含む世界最大のネットワークを持っています。ADRA Japanは2014年からエチオピア西部ガンベラ州クレ難民キャンプで水衛生支援に従事し、2022年11月からはエチオピア北部アムハラ州において紛争被災者への緊急支援・水衛生支援にも取り組んできました。
