Aerospace and Defense
Provides a venue for addressing issues of interest to member companies which are U.S. aerospace & defense (A&D) manufacturers and U.S. corporations that support the A&D industry. The member companies represent an annual US$3-4 billion U.S. A&D goods and services trade surplus with Japan.
The Committee primarily serves as a venue for advocacy and exchanges between U.S. A&D companies and high-level government officials (both U.S. and Japan) to discuss issues of interest regarding U.S.-Japan governmental policy, programs, and exchanges.
It occasionally hosts speaker programs open to the ACCJ general membership on issues of public interest, ranging from commercial aviation to defense to space.
(Limited to U.S. company members related to the aerospace and defense industry. Chair approval required)
