Ambassador Emanuel Meets with ACCJ-Chubu about Direct Flights

U.S. Ambassador Rahm Emanuel met with ACCJ-Chubu members and Aichi Governor Hideaki Ohmura, Nagoya Mayor Takashi Kawamura, Central Japan Economic Federation Chairman Akihisa Mizuno, Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tadashi Shimao, Central Japan International Airport President and CEO Riki Inuzuka, and Toyota Motor Corporation Executive Fellow Shigeki Terashi in Nagoya on July 31.

The ACCJ appreciates Ambassador Emanuel’s support of efforts to resume direct travel from the Chubu region to the United States, which will greatly enhance ease of doing business, facilitate economic growth, and strengthen U.S.–Japan ties.
