Japan Digital Agenda 2030 - May 2021 Advocacy
Members of the ACCJ Digital Society Coordination Group have been actively meeting with key partners and stakeholders in the public and private sectors to brief them on Japan Digital Agenda 2030 (JDA 2030) and its 10-year road map for the digital transformation of Japan’s economy and society.
Key Advocacy meetings this month include:
Meeting with the Japan America Society of Washington D.C. (May 11): To discuss possible collaboration on introducing JDA 2030 to Japan America Society's D.C. membership and the D.C. policy community.
Briefing with the American Chamber of Commerce in Helsinki, Finland (May 12): Related DSCG members will brief the JDA 2030 to the American Chamber of Commerce in Helsinki, Finland, which expressed interest in the JDA 2030 and its possible implications for their advocacy.
Joint Workshop with Silicon Valley Japan Program (May 19): Related DSCG members and representatives from McKinsey will participate in a joint workshop with the Silicon Valley Japan Program, an association of leading Japanese firms with operations in Silicon Valley. The focus of the workshop will be the JDA 2030's Big Moves in the Financial Services and Retail sectors.
Doorknock with the Brookings Institute (Week of May 24): Related DSCG members will present the JDA2030 to the Washington D.C. policy community via a virtual "Door Knock" hosted by the Brookings Institution.
