Jarman International Innovates with Monthly Charity Cup in Utsunomiya to Benefit Mirai no Mori

Since last April and the beginning of Covid restrictions, Jarman International sought out how to continue the Jarman International Charity Golf Cup event to support Mirai no Mori AND follow social distance and restrictions on large group gatherings.

In an innovative move to keep the event going in a Covid-friendly way, CEO Ruth Jarman came up with the idea for a VIRTUAL monthly competition.

In the virtual competition, golfers can play a round any time during the month at the Jarman partner club in Utsunomiya and then send in their scorecard to enter to win the monthly cash prize and trophy.

We are proud of this tiny innovation in the face of so much disruption this past year. As Japan adjusts to the work-style revolution forced into implementation by the pandemic, we are excited to participate in change for the better with all our fellow members of the ACCJ.
